Chaswyck Bint Shakhaf

Chaswyck Ace of Spades was also the half brother to  Dunbar Mahadik, who was runner- up in the 2008 Tom Quilty, (Australia’s longest and most grueling endurance race).
Chaswyck Bint Shakhaf’s dam was also maternal half sister to Simeon Shai, Triple Crown Winner in halter, taking the title of US National Champion Stallion, Scottsdale Champion and Canadian National Champion all in the same year. Prior to showing, Simeon Shai’s training and conditioning programme comprised of free lungeing and every second day was ridden 30 kms up a stony mountain. His rider noted: “He, (Simeon Shai), was a tough horse and always came back frisky with never a lump or bump on him”(Jean Freiday). In the same year, while winning the American Halter, Triple Crown, Simeon Shia was awarded World Champion at the Salon Du Cheval in Paris: a testament not only to his impeccable conformation and genetic make-up but also to his extraordinary temperament and endurance.

Chaswyck Bint Shakhaf is set to become one of Glen Eirinn Arabian Stud’s most prized mares and is sure to leave a legacy of beauty and stamina.
